It has become apparent to me that sitting down and clicking out a full-blown book with these fingers is not something my eye-to-hand coordination deems suitable. In short, while I have toyed with a book for several years, I never got things completed. But let me ask you this, how many times have you decided to do an oil painting, or in your mind you have redesigned your house, or climbed Mt. Everest. All the good intentions in the world won't get it done, unless a person puts it in "B" for Boogie and gets on with it.
Certainly, I am a prolific writer.. the Lord has told me so. And I can write about most things from soup to nuts, given the chance. There is one itty-bitty area, though that I seem to back off from, and in fact have been known to make the sign of the cross. The story of: MY LIFE!
Today, as I was wandering down the hall towards shower, gown and some TV and/or book, the Holy Spirit softly hit me with a 2 x 4 and sent me to my computer. Now, barely 10 minutes later I have a new blog site, named after the story of my life. Seems I am NOT writing a book, but a series of short essays. And here's a miracle for my day - I get it. The purpose is to share, encourage and show others that there is most definitely a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel. Jesus Christ.
He makes it all worth it.
Now I can tell you bits and pieces - enough so that you get the idea. And there may be times of tears, but mostly I am hoping for lots of laughter.
That is why the picture of the Wonder Women Converse shoes. I so want... I so need a pair of these. With them I would be able to leap tall pages in a single bound! And win every race against the devil. What more could a girl ask for?
So I will go put on my WWC shoes, and get ready for the adventure of my life.

I regret to think about the fact that with my busy schedule and in the midst of chasing my dreams as a writer, I sometimes forget from which tree I fell not far from! You inspired and encouraged me from my youth to express myself in writing and the arts and who I am creatively and professionally today is because of your influence and example.
